Every Child Deserves an adult who will NEVER give up on them....
I am Ms. MacGeorge (Ms. Mac.) I teach Library & Technology at FLT. This year in the Media Center we will work on computer skills, learn to type, reading activities, word work, and many other literacy and technology skills. All learning is designed to provide students with a solid foundation of 21st Century technology skills they will use throughout their educational careers and into their professional careers.
I have put together a webpage (LINK BELOW) with suggested website links for school and home use. There is also a page with recorded stories for home and school use (LINK BELOW).
Let's work together to give our students and families the best we have to offer. Please let me know how I can help; answering questions, sharing resources, or making suggestions, etc..
In addition to the Media Center, I also work with the Honors Broadcasting Team. The Honors Broadcast team creates and produces a morning news broadcast every morning at 8am. Please see the WFLT page, (click WFLT button below) on this website, for information and pictures.
There is another webpage on this site that has stories we have recorded for your children's enjoyment (link below). It is my true belief that stories can bring joy and fulfillment, as well as, the foundation to learning and can create amazing bonds between people. Please find time to read with your children when ever possible. Use the recodings on the webpage, ask questions,, build this crutial foundation and relationship with your children.
Please email me or stop by after school (2:30-3:00) or by appointment at another time, with questions or concerns. For easy email access, click the email me button graphic below, together we can solve any issues.
