What do I do if I have not received a ballot?

Contact the State Board of Election at 410-269-2840 (but anticipate a long wait). Request a ballot or track your ballot at elections.maryland.gov

 

Where may I drop off my completed ballot?

That depends on where in the state you live. For the statewide list, look here. But in an emergency teleconference meeting May 20, the State Board of Elections decided to add ten additional drop-off boxes for Baltimore City residents, bringing the total number of drop-off boxes to 16, including the one outside the Board of Elections. This is the list:

What's the deadline for mailing or dropping off my completed ballot?

 8 p.m. June 2 – But play it safe and get your ballot in as soon as possible. Thousands of ballots mailed in for the April 28 special election for the 7th Congressional District arrived late.

 

Where will in-person voting be available?

If I vote in-person in Baltimore, must I vote at a particular voting center?

From the Baltimore City Board of Elections: No. You may choose any one.

 

How will voters know that their ballots will be counted?

From the State Board of Election: “Check that your ballot was counted by visiting www.elections.maryland.gov and clicking “Look up your Voter Info.” If you do not have internet access, call 1-800-222-8683 and ask a State Board of Elections representative to check the status of your voted ballot. The information will be posted about 10 days after the election.
