Furman L. Templeton Preparatory Academy is a PreK to 5 public charter and community school. The school has been a long standing hub of the Upton/Druid Heights Neighborhood. Our vision is to accelerate the academic achievement of all students, in partnership with the entire community, to ensure that students have the attitudes, skills, and proficiency needed to succeed in college and in the 21st-century global workforce, while giving them the opportunity to Learn, Love, Live. We believe that all children can learn at high levels, regardless of their race, socioeconomic background, language, or family situation. Positive outcomes for our children will be achieved through the collaborative efforts of teachers, students, parents, and the community.

Our work is centered on ensuring that all students are healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged.
